Liverpool Investment?

Today the news broke that a Saudi prince, Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdullah is set to take a 50% stake in the football club. The Saudi Prince travelled to Anfield for the maulling of Hull City at the weekend. But thats not the only reason why he was there. The Saudi Prince signed yesterday an agreement with Liverpool to build a sport academy in Saudi Arabia.

However, Liverpool have apparently rubbished claims that he will be buying 50% stake in Liverppol Football Club. Both Hicks and Gillett have reitterated that they intend to stay with Liverpool, much to the dissapointment of Liverpool fans. For more check out Sky Sports News
